On 10/24/09, Chef One hosted the first ever New York City Dumpling Festival at Sara D. Roosevelt Park in Lower East Side of Manhattan, benefiting the Food Bank For New York City. The park was filled to capacity and the event successfully raised $17,092.87, which the Chef One Board has decided to match, doubling the total donation to $34,185.74. Joseph Tang - President of Chef One Corp, presented a check to Tricia Rumola, Director of Business Partnerships from NYC Food Bank at its Community Kitchen & Pantry in West Harlem on 11/13/09.
